Pediatric Therapy Resources LLC (PTR LLC) administers Early Intervention services in Hudson County. We provide these services as part of the national Early Intervention Program for infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families. First created by Congress in 1986 under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA, part C), the Early Intervention Program in NJ is administered by the Department of Health and Senior Services. |

Early Intervention's mission is to provide quality support and services to enhance the capacity of families to meet the developmental and health-related needs of children, from birth to age 3, who have delays or disabilities.

For the maximum benefit from Early Intervention services, PTR's therapists not only treat the child, they also teach the family how to implement therapy techniques into the child's daily routine.
|

|
To be eligible a child must be younger than three years old and have a diagnosed disability, or present with delay in one or more of the following areas of development:

- Physical
- Cognitive
- Communication
- Social-Emotional
- Adaptive
