Pediatric Therapy Resources was started as an idea between two co-workers, an OT, and a PT. We were sharing how daunting it can be at times trying to find new ideas or exercises when it comes to working in the pediatric population. We both agreed there are tons of great ideas on the internet but it can take forever going from one site to another trying to find exactly what you are looking for. Not to mention the frustration when you do find something, and you mean to go back to it, but you forget which of the numerous websites you had seen it on. Wouldn't it be great, we thought, if there was just one website that had all the resources we needed.
And that was when Pediatric Therapy Resources was born. One website that is easy to navigate, with resources for activities, exercises, milestones, helpful agencies, and so, so much more. And what is even better, it is one that will be updated with new information every month. AND it is available at a low monthly rate. Just think of how much time and money you could save with this one stop informative and extensive website.
All of our flyers are downloadable and printable. They are originally designed and offer easy to follow directions and information to help make your therapy sessions run smoothly. You can work on the exercises and activities in your therapy session and then offer your parents a copy of the flyer to show them everything you have been working on. How often in pediatric therapy do you hear "it looks like all you are doing is playing." Truth be told, if you are doing it right, that is often what pediatric therapy does look like. After all, isn't play how kids learn best? Now you can give out an informative flyer showing not just what you were working on, but also what that exercise/activity offers.
Give us a try. Let us know what you think. Is there something you feel we need to add to the resources? Is there something you feel we could do better? Are you finding Pediatric Therapy Resources helpful? We would love to hear from you.
Thank you for checking us out and Welcome to the PTR family!
